Ciara And Russell Wilson Are On An Official Break

Are Ciara and Russell Wilson on a break for good? According to E!, Ciara and the Seattle Seahawks footballer are currently on a break, and might even end up splitting up for good.

A source told E! that Ciara and Russell Wilson have fallen on some hard times and that “things have gone a little rocky.” Due to their rocky relationship, the couple has decided to take a break to figure things out. That said, friends close to the couple aren’t convinced that this relationship is going to work out.

The source continued to speak about Ciara and Russell’s relationship, saying, “They haven’t broken up yet, but things are not looking good.”

Back in April, Ciara and Wilson got people talking at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner when Ciara brought Wilson along as her date to the event. Immediately, the two were bombarded by dating rumors.

While at the correspondence dinner, Wilson was asked by ET about his love life with Ciara, and although he didn’t name her, he did admit that there was some truth to those dating rumors.

“That’s why it’s my personal life. I don’t talk about it too much, but there is someone in mind. I’ll say that.”

When asked if her first name starts with a C, Russell laughed it off, saying, “Who knows? I’m not a great speller.”

The last we heard about Ciara, she was celebrating her son’s first birthday. Ciara and her ex, rapper Future, got together to celebrate Future Zahir Wilburn’s birthday on May 19. To cap off the celebration, both parents took to Instagram to write wishes to their son.

Ciara wrote, “HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!! I Can’t Believe It! Feels Like It Was Just Yesterday I Was Carrying You In My Belly!:) Now I’m Chasing After You! I Love You Soooo Much #JuicyMan #MyLittleFuture.”

Her ex, Future, wrote, “5-19-14 god sent me an angel…Future zahir Wilburn #lovealways&forever.”

Although the pair broke off their engagement, Ciara told The Breakfast Club that they would be civil. “We’re cool. We have a child together and I think as a parent it’s important to communicate. We don’t talk everyday but there is no need to. My son is clearly the connection between he and I and as parents I think it is important to communicate.”

She continued, “I like to stay happy and live life light and make the best of life and I think that when you carry a certain energy or when you have funky energy within yourself, you just can’t grow.”

We wonder if Ciara now has that funky energy with Russell Wilson.
