Jillian Michaels: Nose Job Changed Life For Bullied ‘Biggest Loser’ Coach Known For Weight Loss Transformations

Jillian Michaels says that her nose job changed her life. The Biggest Loser coach, known for transforming people’s lives through weight loss, insists that for her, it was plastic surgery in the form of a nose job that made the difference, reported People.

However, Jillian emphasizes that she doesn’t believe in going overboard with cosmetic surgery.

“I think that anything in life is about the middle ground,” said the 41-year-old personal trainer, who left The Biggest Loser after a controversy regarding the use of weight loss supplements.

Although she’s not in favor of numerous procedures, Jillian is now revealing that she was only a teenager when she decided to have her nose job.

“I had my nose done when I was 16 years old, and I’ll be honest, it did change my life,” declared Michaels.

As to why she had the procedure? Jillian says that she was bullied, which impacted her self-esteem and body image. And because of the confidence that she gained after having her nose job, Michaels is in favor of encouraging others to have similar surgeries.

“Not to say you should let your physicality define you, but there are some things that can make people feel really insecure. So, if there is something you want to fix that allows you to feel a little bit more confident, I support it. I think it’s about [doing it for] the right reasons.”

As the Inquistr reported, Jillian was famed on The Biggest Loser for her determination and tough-as-nails tactics when it came to training the show’s participants. But after a season where she found herself labeled as the “cheater” who gave her team illegal caffeine supplements, followed by a winner who appeared anorexic, Jillian announced her exit.

Subsequently, however, Michaels revealed that she was forced to leave The Biggest Loser, reported the Daily Mail.

“I asked for changes and they said no, so in my opinion I believe it was their choice. I was willing to stay if certain changes were made and they said no,” she said of her view about what really happened that resulted in her departure.

Moreover, Jillian revealed that she had many disagreements with the producers during the years that she devoted to weight loss transformations.

“Unfortunately, over the years we’ve had many differences in opinion on how I thought things should be and producers thought things should be and I didn’t quit. I went to them and said I’d like to see these changes and they said no so I did not quit they basically said no we’re not interested in changing x, y and z, so we will part ways. In all fairness it was their show, so I said if we can’t do this, this and this, I’d like to be released and they said you’re released.”
