From Ashton Kutcher and his daughter, Wyatt, to Kanye West and his little girl, North, to Dax Shepard and his daughter, Lincoln, there's a new breed of celebrity fathers -- and what all these famous fathers share is a desire to protect their children. Ashton, for example, tweeted his anger when he discovered that photos had been taken of 7-month-old Wyatt and published, reported MSN.
The photos, which showed Ashton with his daughter in California, were taken without permission by paparazzi, who then sold them to certain tabloids.
"Why is it so hard for publications to respect that I would like the identity of my child kept private for safety reasons?" posted Kutcher about Wyatt. "Pls honor that."
Although Ashton and Wyatt's mom, Mila Kunis, shared the baby's name, they have not shared any photos of their daughter.
It's a definite contrast to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who have been photographed at various events with North West with their permission. But now Kanye is also feeling protective of his daughter, reported Radar Online.
Kim frequently takes photos of North West using her cell phone, which she posts, and Kanye is worried that it's dangerous.
"It's the biggest parenting argument they have and now it's turned into war," said an insider. "Kanye wants to keep North away from all screens – cellphones, tablets and big TVs – because he's convinced the electronics are bad for her."
And West also is irate that Kim is teaching North to take her own selfies, said the source.
"Kanye does NOT like it when Kim encourages North with selfies. He hit the roof when she boasted about it online. It totally undermines him."Kanye dotes so much on North that even when she cried during his recent fashion show presentation, he found a positive way to discuss the situation, as the Inquisitr reported.
"She was just scared for her daddy. She just wanted people to stop being mean to her daddy. Because she knows that her daddy loves the world and just wants to make it a more beautiful place."As for Dax and his daughter, Lincoln, he's working with his wife, Kristen Bell, to establish policies that prevent paparazzi from taking photos without permission of celebrity children, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Dax and Kirsten both refuse to do interviews with media who buy photos from photographers who have been seen pestering celebrities' children. They have support from Halle Berry and Jennifer Garner, who testified to get a bill signed by Governor Jerry Brown that tries to protect these children.
