Arrest Warrant For ‘Girls Gone Wild’ Founder Issued, Joe Francis Is In Mexico Though

Girls Gone Wild founder Joe Francis is currently being sought by U.S. authorities after a warrant for his arrest was issued.

According to NY Daily News, Joe Francis is wanted after he failed to return two expensive cars as part of his bankruptcy charges. Francis was supposed to return a 2007 Cadillac Escalade and a 2012 Bentley Flying Spur.

These were due to be given to the lawyers who sold his risque empire in 2014. However, Francis insists that these cars have actually been stolen by a Mexican strip-club boss. Francis, who is believed to currently be in Mexico, explained that these individuals decided to take the automobiles because several Girls Gone Wild events fell through at their establishments.

In August 2014, it was recommended by Sandra Klein, a U.S. Bankruptcy Judge, that Francis serve time in jail after he had filed for bankruptcy in 2013. Francis sold his Girls Gone Wild emporium in 2013 after he had been forced to file for bankruptcy because he had amassed $30 million in gambling and various other debts to Steve Wynn.

On top of her proposed jail time for Francis, Klein also ordered him to pay $5,000 a day until he’s returned the vehicles. This means that he has already amassed over $1 million in fines.

Francis previously served 270 days in prison back in 2013 after he was found guilty of a number of charges that related to a 2011 incident involving three women in his home. Francis was convicted on three counts of false imprisonment, one of assault, and one of dissuading a witness.

Despite these mounting issues Joe Francis continues to pepper his Instagram feed with various images of his twin daughters who were born to Abbey Wilson on October 7, 2014, while he even shared an image of himself on holiday with Scott Disick and Kourtney Kardashian too.
