Bravo Producers Are Concerned About Teresa Giudice’s Return To ‘RHONJ’ [Report]

Bravo producers are reportedly concerned about bringing Teresa Giudice back to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Although it was initially assumed the mother of four would return to the show at some point after completing her prison sentence, a source now claims Bravo producers aren’t quite of her return.

“Teresa’s fan base has dropped significantly and masses have turned on her,” a source revealed to Real Mr. Housewife on May 19. “She’s not what she first appeared to be when coming on the show.”

“Conversations have swirled about [Bravo producers]’s fear that she will be a mellowed out Teresa. There will be no more over the top behavior, no more table flipping… Basically, she’s lost her aggressive behavior, her over the top lifestyle, and will ultimately lose her husband to the federal prison system- it simply won’t be the same Teresa.”

During the sixth season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Giudice and her husband, Joe, were in the middle of a trial, which ultimately resulted in each receiving jail time. During the October 2014 trial, Giudice was dealt a 15-month prison term, while her husband received 41 months behind bars. Both parties were charged with crimes of bank and wire fraud.

Because Giudice had tamed herself as filming went on, Bravo producers were less than thrilled with ratings.

“Ratings plummeted last season. What we saw was a mellowed out Teresa and the fans had no interest in it. Her storylines have always been about bringing other people on the show to do her dirty work to bring her castmates down. Also, upon leaving prison, she will be on probation. This will not allow for any more over the top behaviors or lifestyle for her.”

Following her December 23 release from the Federal Correctional Facility in Danbury, Connecticut, Giudice will be required to follow rules of her probation, and likely will continue on with her tame ways — and that’s what Bravo producers are afraid of. Understandably, what they reportedly want for the show is Giudice’s over-the-top antics, which often lead to drama with her co-stars.

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Bravo producers have reportedly been in contact with several cast members regarding their possible return to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but so far, as Real Mr. Housewife reported, no contracts have been signed, and Bravo producers have not yet revealed any details in regard to the upcoming season.
