Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson Party With Harry Styles’ Ex-Girlfriend, Taylor Swift

Niall Horan may serve as One Direction’s “peacemaker” within the group. However, Horan raised more than a few eyebrows earlier this week when he was spotted alongside fellow bandmate Louis Tomlinson partying it up with Harry Styles’ ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

Horan and Tomlinson were photographed having a blast during Swift’s Billboard Music Awards afterparty in Las Vegas Monday night, where Daily Mail reports that fellow One Direction member Styles was nowhere to be found.

Horan and Tomlinson partied alongside friend Ed Sheeran and Swift’s boyfriend Calvin Harris for the fun bash, where they donned festive accessories to celebrate Swift and One Direction’s successful wins during the awards ceremony.

A personal photo of Horan and the group emerged on social media on Monday, showing Niall, Tomlinson, Swift, Sheeran, and Harris posing in a photobooth as posted by Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift.

While fans quickly began speculating the reason why Styles avoided the star-studded bash while Niall and Louis partied it up, many believe that it was because of Swift and Styles’ less-than-friendly split in 2013, which has been rumored to inspire several of Taylor’s hits off of her hit album, “1989.”

However, Hollywood Life suggests that Styles was invited to Swift’s celebration alongside Niall Horan and Tomlinson, an invitation which he quickly turned down.

A source close to Styles reveals that while he knew that fellow bandmates Niall and Louis were going to be in attendance, he wanted to avoid any awkward tension between himself and ex Taylor Swift.

“They have a good mutual friend in Ed Sheeran who has been trying to get all of them together to hang out. Ed doesn’t see any reason for them all not to be friends. He invited all of the One Direction boys and wanted Harry to join in, but Harry knew it would be awkward so he decided against it.”

The news comes only days after Horan dished on the state of One Direction amid an ongoing feud with Tomlinson, Naughty Boy, and former member Zayn Malik.

In an interview with Play To The Whistle, Niall revealed that the group is happily working in the studio on their next album, while offering up some reassurance to fans who are fearful that the group is calling it quits in the near future.

“It’s all good. We are just in the studio at the minute, writing for the next album,” Horan told the outlet.

The group gave a shout-out to Malik during their acceptance speech at the Billboard Music Awards despite the singer’s feud with Tomlinson via Twitter, with member Liam Payne calling Malik his “brother.”

“There’s one more person to share this with, and that’s our brother Zayn.”

One Direction was awarded for the Top Duo/Group category and the Top Touring Artist category at this year’s Billboard Music Awards.
