Kim Richards’ Sister Is Proud: Kathy Hilton Says She’s Proud Of Kim For Going To Rehab

Kim Richards’ sister is proud of her for deciding to go to rehab and to get help with her addiction issues. According to The SpreadIt, Kathy Hilton spoke out about Kim at the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund’s 2nd Annual Super in Los Angeles.

“I’m very proud of her, she decided on her own to go. I just want to do the right thing, and I want to be the strongest I can be.”

The Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills star was arrested for public intoxication last month. While she does face quite a few charges (including battery on an officer after she allegedly kicked him), sources say that Kim went to rehab in order to show the judge that she is being proactive when it comes to getting help. It has been reported that Richards could spend time behind bars for her actions, so rehab could be her only shot at getting a second chance.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Kim actually left rehab to attend her daughter’s, Brooke’s, bridal shower last week. It was reported that the mother of the bride was going to go back to finish her treatment, perhaps after Brooke’s upcoming wedding, but that has not yet been confirmed.

Kim looked lovely at the event, which was held at Kathy Hilton’s home. She posed for photos with her daughter, and seemed to really enjoy the celebration.

And that’s not all that’s going on in Kim’s family life at the moment.

While Kim Richards’ sister Kathy is proud of Kim for doing the “right thing,” her other sister, Kyle Richards, has been keeping her distance. The two women have had their fair share of fights, and recently revealed that they hadn’t been on speaking terms. However, there are a few reports out there that indicate that Kyle is ready to give Kim another chance.

According to Mail Online, Kyle is supposedly going to attend Kim’s daughter’s wedding (she did not attend the bridal shower).

“Kyle has decided to try and mend fences with her sister and be supportive. She also RSVP’d with a ‘yes’ to the invitation to attend Brooke’s repeat nuptials in Mexico next weekend despite having been originally banned from attending by Kim herself.”
