Waco Shooting Latest: Video Shows Biker Shooting Unfold

The latest footage of the Waco biker shooting has been released by the police. The video, which can be seen here, shows the violent brawl that erupted between rival Texas biker groups in the Twin Peaks Restaurant parking lot in Waco, Texas, leaving nine dead and 170 in custody.

The bikers arrived at the restaurant armed with guns, knives and brass knuckles, according to ABC News. Waco Police Sgt. Patrick Swanton said that officers were already present when the fight broke out, and were able to react in less than a minute.

“As that fight progressed, it progressed very rapidly from hands and feet as weapons to chains,” Swanton said, adding that at least five gangs were involved. However, he said he would not release their names. The officers had to fire at several of the gang members, however none of the officers were injured in the process.

“I am not about to give them the respect of mentioning their names.”

“My understanding a club was involved and knives were involved. This is probably one of the most gruesome crime scenes I’ve ever seen in my 34 years of law enforcement. I was amazed that we didn’t have innocent civilians killed or injured.”

Twin Peaks Waco franchise manager Jay Patel responded to the brawl on his Facebook page.

“We are horrified by the criminal, violent acts that occurred outside of our Waco restaurant today. We share in the community’s trauma. Our priority is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for our customers and employees, and we consider the police our partners in doing so. Our management team has had ongoing and positive communications with the police and we will continue to work with them as we all want to keep violent crime out of our businesses and community. We will continue to cooperate with the police as they investigate this terrible crime.”

Investigators are still processing the crime scene, and security is on high alert as police fear a possible retaliation.
