Lisa Rinna was ready for her closeup on Sunday, just three days after announcing her Season 6 return to Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. On May 17, Lisa Rinna posted the following message on Instagram, along with a makeup-free selfie.
“I am old and I look pretty f—ing fresh I must say. Ok I’m off to the bar to watch #MadMen no make up and sweats that’s how I roll baby.”
Lisa Rinna was one of two new wives brought aboard The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ fifth season. Rinna and Eileen Davidson, both of whom were known for their role in soaps, came to the show to replace Joyce Giraud and Carlton Gebbia, who were fired after just one season with the Bravo series.
Although Lisa Rinna’s role on the show was highly discussed, mainly because of her ongoing feud with Kim Richards, most assumed she would be asked back to the show for Season 6. However, her future with Bravo was unknown until last Thursday when she attended the NBC Upfront to announce the show’s upcoming installment, along with co-stars Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards.
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Lisa Rinna and co-star Kim Richards ended Season 5 with a bang, when Richards alleged Rinna’s husband had been hiding a major secret. However, when confronted about the issue at the Season 5 reunion, Richards failed to reveal a thing, claiming it was too horrible for her to repeat.
In her Bravo blog, Lisa Rinna looked back on the incident, slamming Richards for being so irresponsible with her words.
“When you put out a claim or accusation about somebody, you need to be damn sure you can back it up. Insinuating something about someone based on something that you ‘heard’ is creating a negative that you can’t prove and also has the potential of never truly going away. This is just dangerous. Shame on you, Kim Richards. I’ll pray for you.”
As for her own indiscretions, Lisa Rinna claims to have owned up and moved on.
“I own this behavior. I recognize it, and I own up to it, and I work on bettering myself from it. Can Kim and Brandi say the same?”
While Lisa Rinna, Vanderpump, and Kyle Richards have all been confirmed for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the fate of the rest of the cast, including Yolanda Foster, Eileen Davidson, Kim Richards, and Brandi Glanville, remains up in the air. A filming start date has also not yet been revealed.
