Luckily for her, Mike actually put together a much more romantic and memorable outing for the big day. She’s clearly touched, but the couple quickly realizes that there is one big problem.

TV Guide teases that this Season 5, Episode 22 show is titled “The Bitter Man and the Sea.” Mike’s been planning a big anniversary cruise for Molly. However, Carl and Victoria’s split causes some collateral damage.

During this finale, Mike will have to retract Carl’s invitation for the big event. Given the title of this episode, most would guess that there is still some tension, drama, and chaos to wade through when it comes to the cruise, Victoria, and Carl though.

Another teaser from the network shows just how tense things are getting between Carl and Victoria. Is there a way for them to all be on the boat together to celebrate Mike and Molly’s happy day? From the looks of things, that’s pretty unlikely.

Will there be a cliffhanger at the end of this Season 5 finale? Fans aren’t sure what to expect, though many are hoping that there will be happy baby news from Molly and Mike heading into the hiatus.

Just how long will fans be waiting for more from Mike & Molly? Luckily, CBS has renewed the show for Season 6. However, it seems that new episodes won’t be airing right away in the fall. As has happened with this show before, the network will be holding back the new episodes until winter when the mid-season shows debut.
