Watch live online as the Los Angeles Clippers vs. Houston Rockets NBA Playoff series all comes down to a single game. The Clippers had every chance to close out their Western Conference Seminifinal series at home Thursday night — until they blew a 19-point lead and Houston took a stunning 12-point victory to force the deciding game 7 Sunday afternoon.
Now Los Angeles not only must put the shocking 31-point turnaround behind them, they’ll have to go on the road to do it, needing to beat the Rockets in Houston’s Toyota Center. The Clippers, however, posted a respectable 26-15 road record while Houston went 30-11 at home.

In Thursday’s game, the Clippers were still ahead by eight points with 6:47 left in the game when they went as cold as a team could get — going the next 6:45 without a field goal. But guard Chris Paul singled out the team’s play on the other end of the floor to take the blame for the crushing defeat.
“Our defense is our backbone,” said Paul. “We did not execute in the fourth quarter.”
“When you give up 40 points, you’ve stopped playing, clearly,” Los Angeles Coach Doc Rivers added.
Houston outscored the Clippers 40-15 in that fateful fourth stanza.
But there is some hope for the Clippers as they head to Houston with their fate in their hands. Those 26 road wins were a franchise record, and in the first round of the playoffs, they took two road wins from the San Antonio Spurs, including one with their backs against the wall, evening that series at 3-3.
On the other hand, in the NBA Playoffs, stats show that the home team wins Game 7 about 80 percent of the time.
