The New Brat Pack? Gigi Hadid Talks About Kendall Jenner And Hailey Baldwin After Hailey Slams Gossip Site

Gigi Hadid decided to open up about her super close friendship with Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin. This comes after the news that Hailey slammed HollywoodLife for publishing a false story about a hookup story that involved her, Kendall Jenner, and Justin Bieber.

Hadid, 20, gave an exclusive interview to the same celeb gossip site about her friendship with the models. Hadid, Kendall Jenner, 19, and Hailey Baldwin 18, are often pitted against each other or rumored to be feuding over boys, but it turns out that the girls have a strong bond.

Gigi attended the Maybelline New York’s 100 Year Anniversary on Thursday, May 14. The model talked to HollywoodLife about how her model friends maintain their beauty on the inside out. Gigi admits that there are no backstage fights at runway shows.

“I think it’s really cool that I live in a generation of models where it’s cool to be nice and it’s cool to have friends and have friends that support each other.”

Now, Gigi Hadid, Kendall Jenner, and Hailey Baldwin are being dubbed as the model-version of the classic “Brat Pack.” It’s because there’s a whole new group of models that are rising up the fashion ranks and making a name for themselves. Contributor Elizabeth Events of The Oxford Student explains why Hadid, Jenner, and Baldwin lead the pack.

“Each photographs flawlessly and each has the perfect figure, though they have other traits that ties them to this generation. Three of them initially found fame thanks to reality television; Kendall and Kylie Jenner are the youngest siblings in the Kardashian dynasty and Hadid is the daughter of Yolanda Foster of Real Housewives fame. The fame credentials of Hailey Baldwin, daughter of Alec Baldwin, need not be elucidated.”

“They have amassed huge followings on social networks, pioneering Instagram by uploading pouting selfies and showcasing outfits. The Jenner sisters have almost fifty million followers between them, and pictures regularly break the one million like mark. For their followers the images are a point of interaction and a quick look in the comments section reveals the cult following this group has accumulated. Comments such as ‘goals,’ ‘you are so perfect,’ ‘I need this outfit’ and ‘so in love with you.'”

It makes sense. The ladies influence young girls, especially with the help of social media. Hadid, Jenner, and Baldwin all came from famous families and/or popular reality shows. It helps that they’re already in the public eye.

Gigi Hadid’s new interview with HollywoodLife comes after the news that Hailey Baldwin slammed that same site for publishing false stories about her sex life. The model took to Twitter to slam the writers who created a false story about her and Kendall Jenner hooking up with Justin Bieber, as previously reported via the Inquisitr.

The Gossip Cop says that HollywoodLife usually publishes false stories about Justin’s love life. The site often pairs the crooner with Kendall, Hailey, or ex Selena Gomez. The gossip site believes that Justin is either in a “love triangle” or a “ménage en trios” with Kendall and Hailey.

Its sources claim that both models are the singer’s “friends with benefits buddies.” The site often blames the ladies for getting involved with Justin, when it should be the guy that receives the blame for playing with their hearts in the first place. Gross.

It sounds like HollywoodLife wanted to create a salacious story to get clicks. Unfortunately, it worked. Hailey Baldwin is one of the first celebrities to slam the gossip site. Baldwin previously called out HollywoodLife back in January when the site wrote about her alleged “three-way date” with Bieber and Jenner.

She tweeted at the time: “What even is a ‘3 way date’ and haven’t you ever heard of friends hanging out…? Lemme kno… just lemme knoooo how these stupid scenarios make sense to you? #peoplerdumb.”

Hailey Baldwin later deleted the tweet.

Selena Gomez perfectly summed up her thoughts about the gossip site.
