Josh Hutcherson: Jennifer Lawrence Gave Me A Concussion While Filming ‘Hunger Games’

Jennifer Lawrence plays a fierce warrior in her new movie “The Hunger Games,” and apparently it isn’t all an act. Josh Hutcherson revealed last night that Lawrence gave him a concussion while they were practicing for a fight scene.

Hutcherson told David Letterman:

“We were just goofing around, doing some shadow boxing for fun… (Jennifer Lawrence) throws this beautiful kick, but it landed right on my temple and literally knocked me to the ground. I was down. I was seeing stars and she was freaking out, crying.”

Hutcherson said he didn’t realize how serious the injury was until the next day. Hutcherson said:

“I didn’t want to make a big deal about it… But the next day somebody asked me for my address and I started telling them my address from when I was nine years old. That’s when I was like, ‘This is not right.’ Jennifer felt terrible about it, but it was kind of hilarious.”

“The Hunger Games” opens this Friday and box office analysts are predicting it to have a huge weekend.

Here’s a trailer for “The Hunger Games.”
