Valeria Lukyanova Abs Backlash: ‘Real-Life Barbie Doll’ Blasts, Shames Haters, Body Critics

After a backlash ensued when Valeria Lukyanova posted spring photos of her new abs, the “Real-life Barbie Doll” responded to online critics over her body image. The “Living Barbie” model launched a defensive shaming of haters when they assailed her new six-pack pictures, citing a Us Magazine report.

Days ago, Valeria, 29, uploaded pictures of her new look. Many know Lukyanova for her doll-like features in her quest to look like a human version of the iconic doll. However, the new snaps of the Ukrainian model featured her with a ripped midsection.

Valeria Lukyanova’s abs were on full display in the new pictures. She donned a tight navy crop top and matching tiny shorts that were strung up at the sides, according to a previous Inquisitr report. And from the start, critics lobbed nasty comments at Lukyanova on various levels.

“I’m a fan but how can this picture not be Photoshopped? Truly great special effects can never be noticed.”

“You skare [sic] me, you are pretty but don’ t push the rope.”

“Creepy.”

“She looks something like a giraffe in this pic.”

Although it’s not the first time Val has received hater-nation remarks, she couldn’t resist staying way out of the ring to defend herself, and her new midriff.

On her Facebook community page, Valeria returned fire to antagonists who questioned the authenticity of her abs, her commercially inspired beauty, body choices and outlook on life. The following response from Lukyanova was translated from Russian to English.

“It is a pity that most people choose the path of degradation. If they see a man who has succeeded with something better than they are, they are ready to literally tear. Especially often I see it on the Internet.”

“I am certainly still far from ideal, very far. But I strive for athleticism… So funny that girls and boys from sporting groups write such nasty things about my body… so much negativity.”

Valeria’s stern defense of the ab photos didn’t ward off the online assaults. However, it’s unlikely Lukyanova will simply fade away in her quest to look like a Barbie doll and Amazonian. Imagine that?

Last year, Lukyanova posted several photos showing her swollen face wrapped in bandages. She told fans the bruises were the result of a random attack outside her Odessa residence in Ukraine on Halloween night. She alleges to have been accosted by two men, who brandished knives and gave her a brutal beating. Critics said she was simply trying to throw off the public after secretly going under the knife – “again.”

All along, Valeria Lukyanova has maintained her stance that she has never gotten plastic surgery or cosmetic surgery. For what it’s worth, she does admit having breast augmentation.

She also came under fire from the public over comments regarding beauty. Suddenly, she was reviled not only for her alleged plastic proportions; the Barbie lookalike was labeled a racist by a few after a GQ interview.

“Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this.

“I love the Nordic image myself. I have white skin; I am a Nordic type—perhaps a little Eastern Baltic, but closer to Nordic.”

Here’s a burning question: Are Valeria Lukyanova’s abs real or fake?
