Austin Mahone & Becky G Dating: ‘Shower’ Singer Talks About Her ‘Very Cute’ BF
Becky G hasn’t been shy when it comes to opening up about Austin Mahone. The “Shower” singer gushed about her new boyfriend when chatting with E! News at the premiere Tomorrowland earlier this week.
The news outlet asked the 18-year-old about the “Mmm yeah” singer. She gushed as she had a lot to say about Mahone. Becky G revealed more about their relationship than most Hollywood couples do.
“He’s very cute! I’ve known him for such a long time. We started off as really great friends and we’d always check in on each other… and we’d always get in the studio together. You grow up, things happen and here we are.”
She was then asked if she was falling for Austin Mahone. She simply answered that she doesn’t have love on the brain at the moment.
“Am I in love? I’m young. I’m doing what young people should do. It’s having fun.”
Sounds like Becky G has a good head on her shoulders. She also added why she loves dating Mahone. The singer is glad that both her fans and the “Mahonies” have been supportive of their relationship.
“I’m so excited. I think it’s really awesome that my fans have been so supportive along this journey and especially right now. I’m in such a happy, good place. I think everybody can see that and I think it’s cool that I get to share that part.”
Becky G premiered her new music video, “Loving So Hard,” which featured Austin. The young couple were seen frolicking on the beach and running around NYC and L.A. together. Fans will also be happy to hear that Becky G and Austin Mahone are collaborating on new music in the near future.
“Actually not so long ago we were in the studio working on a song that hopefully will make it to my album. So hopefully it gets out for the fans to hear it because I know they are excited about it.”
She’s not the only woman who’s speaking out about Austin Mahone. Fifth Harmony’s Camila Cabello says she has “no regrets” about dating the heartthrob, even though he said that his relationship with Becky G was his first “real relationship.”
Cabello opened up to J-14 about her relationship with Mahone and what he said about her.
“I don’t regret anything. It was my first kiss, my first love. It’s important to learn about liking somebody and being swept away, but it wasn’t meant to be. I’ll find somebody else. It’s a cycle. I love love. I’m obsessed with it.”
Austin Mahone put the dating rumors about Becky G to rest in an exclusive interview with MTV News.
“Yeah, you could say we are dating.. It is crazy. I never had, like, a real relationship before. So, it is pretty crazy. It is great being in a relationship with someone that does the same thing you do. We understand each other. We understand what we do.”
It sounds like both Austin Mahone and Camila Cabello have moved on. Hopefully, their fans will move on as well. Camila has been rumored to be dating One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson, although the two were only seen partying at the same nightclub this past weekend.
