EJ Johnson Weight Loss Unveiled: Magic Johnson’s Son Talks 100-Pound Weight Loss And ‘Rich Kids of Beverly Hills’

EJ Johnson is a weight loss success story after shedding more than 100 pounds. The star of the new reality TV show “Rich Kids of Beverly Hills,” Johnson is eager to talk about how he lost more than half of his original size, reported Us Weekly.

“It’s definitely somewhere far over 100,”emphasized Magic Johnson’s son. “I mean like literally almost half my size.”

It’s been nine months since EJ had gastric bypass surgery, reported the Daily Mail.

But the reality TV star wants people to know that he views weight loss surgery as one of many weapons required to win the battle of the bulge.

“It was a tool,” emphasized EJ. “And I think that it was something that really helped me jumpstart the life I definitely wanted to lead.”

All he wanted, adds the 22-year-old, is to be his best.

“I wanted to be the best me I can be and that’s always something I wanted to do. It’s something that I struggled with and I needed that push in the right direction. And now my mindset is completely changed.”

As the Inquisitr reported, Rosie O’Donnell also chose to have weight loss surgery after previous attempts to lose weight failed, and a heart attack made it essential that she slim down.

Rosie also emphasized that undergoing this type of surgery is a tool in weight loss rather than providing instant success.

“It’s not like all of a sudden you change and, boom, you lose the weight, everything’s fine, you got on a size 10, life is great. You’re having amazing sex. Nothing is wrong. It doesn’t work that way,” admitted Rosie. “So all of the stuff that you carry with you as a heavy person in the world will still be there when you’re a thin person in the world.”

But for EJ, the weight loss success and the opportunity to co-star in Rich Kids Of Beverly Hills are game changers, reported E News. Others in the Rich Kids cast include Dorothy Wang, Jonny Drubel, and Taylor-Ann Hasselhoff.

But it’s not easy having rich parents who are celebrities, contend EJ and Taylor-Ann in the third season of Rich Kids of Beverly Hills.

EJ reveals that people get more excited about the fact that Magic Johnson is his father than in meeting him.

“People are always just going to like freak out and then people will come up to me and be like ‘In that game in like 85, your dad did this’ and I’m like ‘Yeah, I don’t know,'” he admitted.
