Queen: Baby Charlotte Brings Joy As Duchess Kate Helps Hospice And Pippa Middleton Makes Organic Baby Food

The Queen adores royal baby Charlotte, recently born to Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William. That’s the official word from the Palace, as Queen Elizabeth expressed her love for her great-granddaughter, reported People.

“We love to have another girl,” revealed the Queen of tiny Princess Charlotte.

Currently residing with Princess Kate, Prince William, and her big brother Prince George at Anmer Hall, Charlotte is the fifth of the Queen’s great-grandchildren. But her words made it clear that she has a special fondness for the new royal baby.

Queen Elizabeth isn’t alone in expressing her pleasure at the arrival of baby Charlotte. Prince Charles also declared that he was joyous about his granddaughter, while her uncle Prince Harry also emphasized his delight.

“I am looking forward to meeting her. She is beautiful,” declared Harry.

And while she’s busy with her children, Duchess Kate is also taking time to show her concern for sick children, reported Us Weekly.

Speaking out for Children’s Hospice Week, Kate wrote a letter urging the public to help fund and recognize the importance of supporting parents whose children have illnesses that shorten their lives.

“For families of children with life-limiting conditions, every moment is precious and every memory needs to be cherished and celebrated. Children’s hospices strive to create happy moments in the most difficult times any family could face. I hope you will join me in supporting Children’s Hospice Week and work to make every moment count for all of our families.”

As for their own new baby, Princess Kate and Prince William feel that they’re in their “golden period,” as the Inquisitr reported.

“[These are] exciting times….a golden period,” said a friend of the quartet.

As for the royal baby’s full name, it’s Charlotte Elizabeth Diana. Charlotte dates back to King George III’s oldest daughter in 1766. In addition, it’s Pippa Middleton’s middle name. Elizabeth pays tribute to Queen Elizabeth II and the Queen Mother Elizabeth. Carole Middleton’s middle name is Elizabeth. And Diana honors Princess Diana, William’s beloved mother.

Pippa is contributing more than her middle name to her sister Kate’s household, however. She’s planning on whipping up organic baby food for Charlotte that is plant-based, because she wants to become a nutritionist and health writer, reported the Daily Mail.

And in addition to making baby food, Pippa is making health food for herself and her sister.

“Under the tutelage of Pippa, Kate has become a health freak,” revealed a source. “They both have expensive blenders and make themselves green smoothies every morning. The Middletons are a very healthy family and they hate to outsource help or advice, so Pippa thought: ‘Why not become a nutritionist?'”
