Katie Hamilton Will Appear On ‘RHOC’ Season 10 As A ‘Friend Of The Cast’
Katie Hamilton may have left The Real Housewives of Orange County amid filming on Season 10, but according to a May 12 report by TMZ, she will still be featured on the Bravo reality show. The site claimed Katie Hamilton, who joined the show early this year with fellow MLB wife Meghan King Edmonds, wife of Jim Edmonds, will be seen on Season 10 as a “friend of the cast.”
Although Katie Hamilton, and her now-estranged husband, Josh, will be seen only as a “friend of the cast,” Jim and Meghan King Edmonds will be seen in a full-time role.
In addition to being a World Series Champion, TMZ noted, Jim Edmonds is a 4-time All Star and 8-time Gold Glove winner. Meanwhile, Katie Hamilton’s estranged husband is becoming known for his addiction issues over his talent.
As previously reported, Josh reportedly suffered a cocaine relapse earlier this year, and a short time later, filed for divorce. In his divorce filing, according to the Dallas Morning News, Katie Hamilton’s husband listed 34 requests. Below are several of the petitions.
“Prohibit her from using the Maserati and 1972 Chevrolet Blazer in his possession; prohibit her from ‘hiding’ the children from him; prohibit her from making disparaging remarks against him or his family; prohibit someone who has an intimate relationship with her from staying in the same home as the children overnight.”
Katie Hamilton’s role on The Real Housewives of Orange County was first reported in January by Radar Online. At the time, a source revealed the following.
“The two new housewives are Meghan King Edmonds, who is married to baseball player Jim Edmonds, and [Katie Hamilton], wife of baseball player Josh Hamilton.”
Radar Online‘s source claimed Meghan King Edmonds’ addition to the show wouldn’t be her first time appearing on the Bravo series. Last year, during Season 9, the new housewife attended Heather Dubrow’s hoedown party, where she reportedly made advances towards Shannon Beador’s husband.
“Meghan was present, and she was a bit flirtatious with Shannon Beador’s husband, David, which did not please Shannon one bit.”
Katie Hamilton’s past issues with her husband, Josh, were also mentioned, and the source claimed they would likely be a part of the show.
“So far, the ladies seem to be great additions to the cast, and are definitely fitting in with the majority of the women.”
