Bravo Commerical Featuring Vicki Gunvalson’s Mother’s Death Debuts On Mother’s Day
A Bravo commercial featuring Vicki Gunvalson has reportedly upset the Real Housewives of Orange County. During the clip, shared on the network and online on Mother’s Day, May 10, Gunvalson was seen answering a phone call, during which she was dealt the shocking news of her mother’s death.
After a Real Housewives fan page mentioned the Bravo commercial had been released on Mother’s Day, Gunvalson shared a heartbreaking message with fans.
“It’s the most terrible thing to have to re-live again… Especially on Mother’s Day.”
As Radar Online reported on May 12, Gunvalson was seen in hysterics, as she began to weep and fell to the ground. The death of Joanne Steinmetz, which was spotlighted during the Bravo commercial, occurred earlier this year, and was first announced by Gunvalson on Instagram on February 4.
“Tonight I received a phone call that is every person’s worst nightmare. My amazing, beautiful and strong mother passed on and is now with the love of her life my father in heaven. I am who I am today, because of her. An amazing cook, organized, bold personality and had a sense of style and fashion that I adored. I miss you so much mommy! My life will never be the same without you to give me advice and your wisdom. You were so healthy and so vibrant and so beautiful. I still need you. I love you MOM.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Gunvalson was also upset about the allegation of a “fake cancer” claim made during the Bravo commercial.
“It’s nothing short of disgusting,” Gunvalson told a fan, after the Bravo commercial was released.
Gunvalson’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Brooks Ayers, was diagnosed with cancer several months ago, and on the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, one of her co-stars alleges the diagnosis never actually happened. During the season, however, fans will learn the truth about Ayers’ diagnosis, and see the devastating moments that followed.

Joining Gunvalson for season 10 are returning housewives Heather Dubrow, Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney and Lizzie Rovsek (who will star as a “friend of the Housewives” as opposed to an “official housewife”), as well as new housewife Meghan King Edmonds.
The shocking Bravo commercial continues to air on the NBC/Univeral-owned network.
