Burt Reynolds: Frail At 79, Actor Makes First Appearance At Comic Con

Burt Reynolds looked frail as he stepped out at Comic Con in Philadelphia over the weekend. According to Entertainment Tonight, the 79-year-old actor wore rose-colored glasses and a black velvet blazer to the event. He walked with a cane as he headed into (and out of) a Q&A session about his second memoir, But Enough About Me.

Although many were thrilled to see him, fans could not help but notice just how gaunt Reynolds looked. Photos of the actor have been going viral on social media for a couple of days now.

Burt Reynolds may have looked frail, but his new book won’t be delicate in any way. Reynolds says that his memoir is very honest and tells the story of the actors that he worked with over the course of his career. According to Fox News, Reynolds admitted that not everyone had an easy breezy personality, and that sometimes it wasn’t easy working with other people.

“I got along great with 98 percent of them, and a few of them I didn’t like at all. When you write a book like this, you have to tell the whole thing, and there are days when everything isn’t wonderful and there were people who I thought were asses,” he said of the actors that he has worked with.

His favorite? Actress Sally Field.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Reynolds was really excited to attend Comic Con and to do the Q&A. He says that he really enjoys talking with fans and that he looked forward to the event.

“I think it’s a good time to find out what it’s all about. I always enjoy talking to fans and I’m usually very pleased with their curiosity about my career, what I’m doing, what I’m not doing, and why I’m not doing more.”

Although Burt Reynolds looked frail, he seems to be doing okay health-wise (he previously had heart surgery and issues with his back). It seems as though his old age might be catching up to him. All in all, however, he does not look all that bad, does he?
