Noah Galloway Proposes On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Noah Galloway proposed to his girlfriend on the popular ABC show, Dancing with the Stars, on Monday’s semifinals, according to People magazine. This was the first time a proposal has ever taken place on the show. It was an exciting time for those who witnessed the sweet sentiment.

After Noah’s performance with partner Sharna Burgess to David Cook’s “Time of My Life” earned rave reviews, host Erin Andrews brought Noah’s girlfriend along for Galloway’s backstage interview.

Jamie Boyd said,”You’re amazing. You’re a beautiful dancer and you have a beautiful heart.” Then Noah gave a response Jamie wasn’t expecting.

“The song, the ‘Time of My Life,’ you’ve given it to me. I’ve got to do this here.”

Noah Galloway, 33, got on his knees and proposed to his Army Reserve specialist girlfriend by presenting her with a two-carat, princess-cut diamond on an 18-karat white gold band from XIV Karats in Beverly Hills.

The Army veteran and double amputee had been planning to propose since March when Jamie secretly watched him samba before surprising him on stage after he had dedicated his dance to her.

“Jamie has been so supportive throughout my entire journey. I have been wanting to propose for a while, and when she surprised me in the Skybox, it was such a shock, if I had the ring with me I would have done it right then and there. That was a moment when I knew I wanted to propose to her on the show. I always thought if I made it to the finale I would propose, but I realized the competition is so stiff I couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by in case this is the end of the road for me on the show.”

The double amputee, who is partnered with Sharna Burgess on Season 20 of the reality competition, made it to this week’s semifinals against Nastia Liukin, Riker Lynch, and Rumer Willis.

Us Weekly reported that the romantic proposal even sent finalist Rumer Willis’ mom Demi Moore into tears.

“Galloway and Boyd’s romance has been on full display on Dancing with the Stars all season.”

The father of three kids from two previous marriages goes into the finals as an engaged man. Even if he does not win the mirror ball, he has won the hearts of million of viewers.
