‘Batman V Superman’ Promo Art: Wonder Woman, New Batwing Images Surface

Batman v Superman promo art has fans aflutter with excitement as new images of Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) and the newly designed Batwing surface.

As we all “patiently” await more official images from Warner Bros. or director Zack Snyder on Twitter, we can enjoy the new Batman v Superman promo art. A couple of them show the Israeli-born actress Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman in action, and she surely looks the part.

The studio got a lot of flack for casting Gadot, as many fans and critics argued that she was too small and not muscular enough to portray the Amazonian superheroine, Diana Prince, in the DC Comics blockbuster. However, Snyder and Gadot reminded everyone that despite her relatively petite frame, Gal Gadot is a strong, tough woman who served in her country’s military actively for some time.

Now with the new Batman v Superman promo art images, the studio seems to have been correct in the casting. Gadot definitely looks the part of Wonder Woman in the two images shared by Umberto “El Mayimbe” Gonzalez, formerly of Latino Review, on Instagram. Check them out.

As the date of release very slowly draws near, Snyder is no doubt hard at work with all that he is responsible for, mainly introducing a new, never-before-seen version of Batman (Ben Affleck) and how the Caped Crusader will influence what is yet to come, Justice League.

In Miller’s story, Batman is older, more violent, and punishing on criminals – who themselves have gotten more violent and dangerous as the years have passed in Gotham City, according to Screen Rant. If that’s the case, Batman needs bigger and better weapons at his disposal to face the revamped thugs.

If you were paying attention to the movie’s trailer, you probably noticed the newly designed Batwing, and it looks awesome. Look at the new Batman v Superman promo art shared by El Mayimbe.

The question being raised now is whether Snyder will continue the very controversial violent angle that he started with the epic battle between General Zod and Superman (Henry Cavill) in the prequel, Man of Steel. That was a big turn-off for fans, but if the trailer is any indication, we will see a much darker film. Will it be more violent as well? Batman is certainly armed to the teeth this time around.

Warner Bros. seems to be putting a lot of emphasis on Batman during this first phase of their promotional efforts, and Superman is taking a back step thus far. Not much about Henry Cavill yet, but hopefully that will change soon.
