3 Generations Of Presley Women Stun During Rare Public Appearance Together

Elvis Presley’s former wife, daughter, and his granddaughter made a rare public appearance together in Hollywood on Thursday night. Priscilla and Lisa Marie Presley showed their support to Riley Keough by attending the premiere Mad Max: Fury Road at the TCL Chinese Theater, according to People Magazine. Riley has a role in the action film that is set for release on May 15.

Riley’s life has changed in a big way since she filmed the movie in 2012. She met her husband on the set of the film, which also stars Charlize Theron, Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Zoë Kravitz and Abbey Lee. Ben Smith-Peterson worked as a stuntman for the film. He also attended Thursday night’s premiere. Riley and Ben married just this year in February.

According to The Spread It, Keough was a bit star struck by her co-stars, especially model Abbey Lee. She googled all of her co-stars after she was cast in the film, and she had no idea how she would be able to work with Lee. However, Zoe Kravitz, another co-star on the film, helped with the introductions.

“I was like, ‘That’s the girl, I think that’s Abbey!’ We were chatting and deciding whether we should go over there. Zoë thought it might have been awkward. We were being weird and girlie and trying to make eye contact with her, and staring at each other from across the way… then finally I went up to her and introduced myself. She was shy and I was trying to make dumb small talk, awkward jokes, but then after the really long plane ride we got to Africa and had already become friends.”

All of three of the Presley women looked stunning on the red carpet, and they posed for photos together. The three each showed off their figures with form fitting clothes, according to a previous Inquisitr report.

While beauties like Charlize Theron and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley attended at the premiere event, everyone was looking at the Presley women. Elvis Presley may have died nearly 40 years ago, but he is still a person that everyone wants to know about. That even translates to the women in his life.

Yes, even in death, the King is still the King.

Elvis Presley has been in the news a lot in recent weeks. Late last month, a new exhibit of memorabilia belonging to Presley opened in Las Vegas. Graceland Presents Elvis: The Exhibition is housed at the Westgate Las Vegas Resort and Casino, and it contains over 300 artifacts that were once housed in his home in Memphis. Priscilla and Lisa Marie attended the opening, and they cut the ribbon.

According to Voice of America, Priscilla spoke about Elvis’ connection to the city of Las Vegas.

“This is where his home was. He loved coming here. He was very fond of Vegas and I think that, if not touring, still coming to Vegas [is] what he loved best.”

Elvis fans are still very fanatical when it comes to items once owned by the singer. Many will visit this new exhibit, and some fans go even further and buy items once owned by Elvis at auction. According to Daily Mail Online, the bottle of Parafon Forte pills subscribed to Elvis the day before his death are now going up for auction on May 16.

“The bottle was discovered after the singer’s death in the bottom of his racquetball bag by Jo Smith, the wife of Billy Smith who was Elvis’s cousin and member of the so-called Memphis Mafia, a close group of friends and family who looked out for him. Their son Danny sold it to an Elvis collector in 2002. There are letters of authenticity signed by Dr. Nichopoulos and Billy and Jo Smith, validating both pill bottles.”

The item will be on sale at Julien’s Auctions in New York. While some might think a pill bottle would have no worth or that someone might be insane wanting to buy such an item, Darren Juilen from the auction revealed that there is a desire for such items by Elvis’ fans.

“There is no question that Elvis took these pills. Nobody else would have taken his prescription. It may seem a little macabre but anything touched or used by a rock icon like Elvis is desirable to fans. ‘Some years ago, we sold the first Elvis pill bottle that a lady found in the trash at Graceland for a considerable amount of money and we started to realize there was a market for this type of thing. These items are quite poignant and significant because it was his addiction to these pills that led to his downfall and death. They played a part in both his life and death.”

Fans can see a bit about Elvis and his life by visiting the new Vegas exhibit or his home in Memphis. At Graceland, fans see his home and his planes. After some controversy, it has been reported that his planes will remain on display at Graceland.

It is clear that the Presley family is still well loved by many years after Elvis’ death. What do you think of the three Presley women stepping out together to attend the Mad Max premiere?
