'The Witcher 3' and 'House of Wolves' Lead New PlayStation Games For The Week Of May 17, 2015

There are two very big hunts happening this week amongst the new PlayStation games for the week of May 17, 2015. The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is out this week, giving gamers another opportunity to delve into one of the most ambitious RPGs to date. The dedicated console crowd will be playing host to the second expansion of Destiny, "House of Wolves," which will have guardians hunting down the Fallen, who have decided that life under the Queen of the Awoken is no longer suitable to them. Amidst these heavyweight titles are a few other gems you should not miss.

Life is Strange Episode 3 - Chaos Theory is the next act in what has been a very well-received game from developer Dontnod. Originally cutting their teeth on Remember Me with Capcom, Life is Strange has more in common with a point-and-click adventure and David Cage's Beyond: Two Souls thrown into the mix. This third expansion continues the story, with two more chapters yet to come. Maxine Caulfield, a photography student, has the ability to rewind time to change a situation or solve a puzzle, and the decisions the gamer make will carry on through the remaining chapters. Life is Strange has been received glowing reviews from critics for both a strong narrative and having a strong female-centric cast that are relatable.

Once gamers have completed the expansion for Life is Strange, they can head over to Destiny and explore what awaits them in the Reef, as Bungie is set to release the second expansion for their latest shooter, "House of Wolves." The new PlayStation game expansion, "House of Wolves," will raise the light level cap to 34 and introduce a plethora of new armor and weapons, as well as the requisite story missions, strikes, and new end game content in the "Prison of Elders" and "Trials of Osiris" for PvE and PvP centric players, respectively. Already, the patch has been applied and gamers can even now partake in the Queen's Wrath bounties to get their reputation jump started before the unlocking of the full content on the May 19.
