Jessica Alba To Release First Book Titled ‘The Honest Life’

Actress, entrepreneur and mother Jessica Alba announced on Monday that she will be releasing her first book titled The Honest Life. A book that focuses on her mission to create a “natural, non-toxic” life for her family.

Speaking to PEOPLE Alba announced:

“It’s totally crazy but amazing. “I’m not extreme. This book is for people who are in the middle but want to create a healthier life, like me.”

Alba recently launched her first business The Honest Company and her book talks about that business, raising her 3-year-old child Honor and her 7-month-old Haven.

Also included in the book will be some of Alba’s family favorite receipts including “Honor’s favorite meatball recipe.”

Alba says she tries to create tasty meals for her girls that are also healthy.

If that isn’t enough advice for her readers she’ll also including some “homemade” treatments to spruce up your daily beauty routine and some fun DIY family projects.

Alba is also promising some nice ways to spruce up your home’s design without breaking the bank.

If you can’t wait to get your hands on The Honest Life you’ll have to wait a little while, the book won’t be released by Rodale until 2013.

Summing up her book Jessica Alba reveals:

“Everything in this book will be something meaningful that I’ve incorporated into [my family’s] lives. I wanted some kind of handbook with all the information I was consuming so I could apply it in a practical way.”
