Beware Of What? Odd Warning Posted On Front Door Of Jessa Duggar Seewald’s Home

Forget about being concerned over soliciting or warning people about a dog — Jessa Duggar Seewald and husband Ben are warning people who approach their front door of something else entirely.

God.

In a choice that seems both bizarre, but entirely in-line with many of the couple’s conservative Christian beliefs, Jessa and her husband’s front door is adorned with the words “Beware of God.”

But, as a recent visitor to the home said to Radar Online,“There is duct tape over part of the sign, so they make be re-thinking its permanence.”

And there is also the chance that the sign may have been put up by someone other than Jessa or her husband Ben, who says he wants to become a minister. The sign was not present when the eldest Duggar son Josh and his family lived in the home, and it may have been put up during the renovations and repairs the Duggars did to the home while Jessa and Ben were on their honeymoon. Updates and repairs were necessary on the starter home because of extensive mold found growing on the walls. The house is described as the “hand-me-down home,” as it was initially given to Josh and his wife Anna by Jim Bob and Michelle when they first married, and was then gifted to Jessa and Ben when Josh and family moved out. Jessa and Ben moved into the 1,000 square-foot home, located in Fayetteville, Arkansas in 2014, shortly after their November 1 nuptials.

But as stern as the message seems, it could have very well been Jessa herself who posted the “Beware of God” sign on her front door. She made it very clear in a social media post in February that she believes in a punitive God.

“Whenever someone speaks out against something that God calls sin, ‘Don’t judge!’ can be heard coming from a thousand lips. People don’t like to have other people disapprove of the way they’re choosing to live their life. People are content to live on in lying, cursing, pride, anger, bitterness, disrespecting of parents, lust, pornography, fornication, adultery, and other sexual sins — and if anyone tries to confront them, their attitude and response is, ‘You live your life, I’ll live mine. Don’t you tell me what to do! Only God can judge me!’ But when unbelieving, sinful men die and stand before God, He justly condemns them to hell.”

She further added that anyone who believes otherwise doesn’t really believe in the “real” God.

“They have created a god in their own mind to suit themselves. They have removed any notion of the Justice of God, and have created a god of their imagination that they can be comfortable with. The Bible teaches that God is a Just Judge, and He must punish sin. Every one of us have broken God’s law, and hell is our deserved punishment.”

So, it could very well have been Jessa who posted the “Beware of God” sign to the front door of the home she shares with husband Ben.
