Cynthia Bailey Claims NeNe Leakes Tried To Get Her Fired From ‘RHOA’ [Video]

Cynthia Bailey and NeNe Leakes are clearly no longer friends, but did the Queen of the Real Housewives of Atlanta really try to get her co-star fired? Bailey thinks so.

In a sneak peek of the third part of the RHOA reunion, which airs tonight, Bailey is in attack mode as she accuses NeNe of trying to take food off her table by actively seeking to have Cynthia fired from the show, as Wetpaint reports. “The bottom line is, once we stopped being friends, I didn’t try to get you kicked out of the group,” says Bailey. When NeNe asks her cast mate to explain what she means, Cynthia responds, “Fired off the show.”

The two’s friendship seemed to have taken a downhill turn last season after NeNe Leakes called Cynthia Bailey’s husband a b***h for inserting himself into the Housewives’ business. During the current season of the show, neither RHOA star attempted to repair the broken friendship. However, Cynthia thinks NeNe went a step too far in trying to get her fired from the show by saying that she was boring and did not have a storyline.

“If you were ever a friend to me, you would never do something like that … NeNe, I would never be so low as to try to take food off of your table.”

In the sneak peek, Leakes insists she never tried to get Cynthia fired, and according to NeNe, had Cynthia been a real friend to Leakes, she would never have “blindsided” her cast mate with made up stories.

While NeNe Leakes maintains she has not tried to get Cynthia Bailey fired, she has commented to various media outlets in recent weeks that she would like to see the unmarried Housewives gone from the show, as the Inquisitr previously reported. In fact, in an interview with Extra earlier this week, Leakes hints she may not return for another season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta if some of the same single cast members will be returning.

“I’d love to see a single woman on the show that’s dating, think that’s great, and fun to have that girl that’s looking for love, but we have too many girls that are looking for money instead of love, so I like to find a girl that’s looking for love, really wants to find a husband. I feel like we have a bunch of gold diggers on the show, so it’d be great if we found somebody really looking for love.”

The third part of the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion airs Sunday, May 10 at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
