Kim Kardashian Is Happy For Kylie Jenner’s Lip Confession: Reality Star Reveals Her Own Insecurities

Kim Kardashian is proud that Kylie Jenner confessed about her signature pout. The 17-year-old finally confessed that she gets temporary lip fillers to make her lips appear fuller. When asked by reporters, Kim showed support for her little sister during her Selfish book signing.

Kardashian, 34, said that Jenner didn’t completely lie to reporters about her lips. She explained that the teen started over-lining her lips over the years and then made the decision to get temporary fillers. Kardashian also insists that Jenner still over-lines her lips, even with the lip procedures.

“What you’ll see on the show is, Kylie, for a really long time, she was over-lining her lips. That was the truth for a while, then she decided to plump them.

“She didn’t lie, it took her a while to actually make that decision to do it and once she decided to plump them, she was still over-lining, then sometimes it would look too big, then she figured out to stop over-lining. She plumped them and she was happy with it.”

Kim is also aware that Kylie is still too young for plastic surgery or lip procedures. The reality star explained to Access Hollywood that her little sis wanted big lips ever since she was just 10-years-old.

“I know people are saying she’s only 17 years old, but it’s been an insecurity of hers for years. At 10 and 11 years old she would always say to me, ‘Kimmy, how come my lips aren’t as big as your guys’?!’ It’s something she was always insecure about.”

If the youngest Jenner teen is happy, then the famous Kardashian is happy. That’s all there is to it.

“If it’s going to make her feel better about herself, I’m all for it. I think she looks beautiful. It’s hard when you’re that age and talking about an insecurity, so I’m proud that she talked about it and that it’s out, and now everyone can stop talking about it.”

On this Sunday’s episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Kylie tells the camera her reason for getting the procedure.

“I have temporary lip fillers. It’s just an insecurity of mine and it’s what I wanted to do. I’m just not ready to talk [about it yet]. Everyone always picks us apart. I want to admit to the lips, but people are so quick to judge me on everything, so I might have tiptoed around the truth. But I didn’t lie!”

In the episode, Kardashian also gives Jenner some advice about her lips.

“Your lips look amazing. I don’t want you to get carried away. Lips aren’t permanent, but like, if they ask about your lips, own up to it.”

Kim Kardashian has her own share of insecurities, even though she’s one of the sexiest reality stars alive. The then-platinum blonde Kim felt insecure posing for a pic with a group of models at Paris Fashion Week.

She included the caption, “Not insecure at all standing next to these super models.”

Kardashian spoke to Elle U.K. last year about the insecurities she faced as a child. When she was a teen, she didn’t want a curvaceous body. In fact, she wanted to be tall and slender, much like her sister, Kendall Jenner.

“When I was 13 my father wrote me a letter. I was unhappy with my body–I developed really early. Every night I would sit in the bath and cry, I prayed my boobs would stop growing. He told me I had a body not many girls have, that later it would lead to attention from men, but that the most important thing was that I was a wonderful girl and I had to understand my self-worth.

“It’s taken me a long time to be happy with my body and for my confidence to grow to what it is today. I grew up when the body to have was the tall, slim, supermodel one, like Cindy Crawford’s. No one looked like me. It’s good to break the mould and recreate one.”

Kim admits that she does feel a lot more “confident” these days, even with her insecurities.

“I am a confident woman, but I didn’t just arrive confident–it has built over the years and that is a big part of who I am now.”
