WWE Rumors: More On When Brock Lesnar Will Return To WWE From His ‘Suspension’

Storylines in WWE right now are kind of up in the air as far as most people are concerned. The Payback event is coming up in a week, and there are just two matches announced. Unfortunately, it’s a lot more repeat stuff from the past few months. There are rumors about everything under the sun, but not a lot is happening. Now, rumors are beginning to heat up about when Brock Lesnar could return and that’s bringing excitement.

Lesnar is expected to return in time for SummerSlam and have a match on the card which will be a featured bout. It’s not known who he will be feuding with yet, but there have been rumors of Seth Rollins or even Bray Wyatt and a reunited Wyatt Family.

If the rematch against Rollins does end up happening for Lesnar’s immediate return, don’t expect a WWE title change right away. In a straight-up match, Lesnar would decimate Rollins, take the title, and hardly break a sweat.

WWE wouldn’t want that to happen so quickly, and as Christian Today reports, Rollins would likely take a beating for a while at SummerSlam, and then high-tail it. Either that or he will get himself disqualified.

This would allow the feud to continue with a stipulation, such as a cage match or no disqualification added on to a future title fight.

The feud that everyone is waiting for is between Lesnar and Daniel Bryan. While it’s possible that this will happen in the future, don’t expect it to be anytime too soon. Bryan is still out with injury, and Lesnar has no immediate beef with him storyline-wise.

If that feud with Lesnar is ever going to happen, Bryan is going to have to be as close to 100 percent as possible.

As for Lesnar’s return, some social media rumors have him returning at the Battleground Pay-Per-View in July. The thing is, it would make no sense to spoil Lesnar’s return on the PPV as WWE will want more people watching. Expect it to happen the evening after at Monday Night Raw.

From there, Brock Lesnar will have returned to WWE with a chip on his shoulder and will be ready to fight and destroy anyone in his path. This will give him enough time to start and work a program with someone for a match at SummerSlam, and the beast will be back.
