Vicki Gunvalson Named One Of Andy Cohen’s Favorites: Lizzie Rovsek Says She Declined ‘RHOC’ Starring Role
When the 10th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County premieres this summer, one familiar face that viewers will see is Vicki Gunvalson. Vicki has been on the show since the very beginning, making her the longest-running housewife out of all the Real Housewives show. As reported by the Real Mr. Housewife on Thursday, executive producer Andy Cohen confessed that Vicki is one of his favorites.
When recently asked by New York City housewife Sonja Morgan who his favorite housewife is, Andy at first wouldn’t pick someone. Eventually, he did name Vicki as one of his favorites.
“I will say this. One of my favorites is Vicki because she was the first one and so you know you always have a special connection to your first and I feel like Vicki is still weirdly in this place where she’s like ‘Oh my God, what the hell am I doing on this show? It’s gonna kill me.’ I just think that, we’ve seen her go through so much in the last ten years, so I have a special place in my heart.”
As previously reported by the Inquisitr, in early April, Vicki, along with Shannon Beador, Tamra Barney, and Heather Dubrow, shared photos of their opening credits. On Monday, Tamra gave fans more of a sneak peek when she posted a photo of herself, Vicki, Shannon, Heather, and new housewife Meghan King Edmonds at a party all dressed in white. Tamra revealed that filming for Season 10 has ended and that the show will air in June.
One person notably absent from Tamra’s photo was Elizabeth “Lizzie” Rovsek, who joined the cast last season along with Shannon Beador. In what seemed to be a response to Tamra’s photo, Lizzie posted a photo of herself with the other women, sans Tamra, at the party.
“Yes, I went to the white party too,” she wrote.
In regards to whether viewers will see her on the upcoming season, Lizzie dropped a bombshell.
“Yes I will be, but not a full time HW. By choice.”
Perhaps Lizzie made the decision to scale back on the show in order to concentrate on her business? Her swimwear line, Sun Kitten Swimwear, is taking off. It was just named the official swimwear brand for the Miss USA 2015 competition. On Thursday, Lizzie tweeted that she will soon be in Baton Rouge to do the contestants’ fittings.

Lizzie Rovsek’s decision to turn down a starring role on The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 10 may have also had something to do with the presence of Vicki Gunvalson’s BFF on the show, Tamra Barney. In late July of 2014, Tamra leaked Lizzie’s personal phone number on social media. Tamra later said that it was an accident and apologized, which Lizzie didn’t quite believe and accept.
