Miley Cyrus Buys $5 Million Ranch Estate, And It’s Actually A Downgrade For Her

Miley Cyrus has landed a $5 million ranch estate in the San Fernando Valley — and believe it or not, it’s actually a downgrade for Miley.

The singer just bought a sprawling estate in the exclusive Hidden Valley area of Los Angeles County.

Miley’s new home in Hidden Valley has an interesting history. The gated community was designed and developed in the 1950s by A.E. Hanson, an architect responsible for a number of famous landmarks in Southern California. The gated community is a city in itself, with a school and summer camp for children as well as annual parades, carnivals, party, and community-wide barbecues in the summer.

The $5 million ranch estate bought by Miley Cyrus is one of the crowning jewels of the community. Spread across five acres, the 6,500-square-foot ranch-style house is loaded with special features.

The Los Angeles Times shared some of the details:

“A wet bar, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, family and dining rooms, a gym and a library/study are among the interior spaces. Including the mainfloor master suite there are seven bedrooms and six bathrooms.

A one-acre riding arena, two paddocks, a 10-stall barn, a 550-vine vineyard and a swimming pool complete the grounds.”

The new $5 million ranch estate will also bring Miley Cyrus back to her childhood growing up on a 500-acre farm in Franklin, Tennessee. Her new home has a 10-stall barn, an area for riding horses, and even a chicken coop and hen house.

Miley Cyrus has been doing a bit of home swapping lately, and her new purchase is actually a bit smaller than her last pad. Back in January, her family put its Los Angeles mansion on the market for just under $6 million.

The home, in the Toluca Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles, was even more sprawling than Miley’s new ranch purchase. It had six bedrooms and seven baths spread out across 8,700-square-feet.

But as E! noted, it didn’t seem Miley was spending much time there lately:

“Miley’s parents, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus, reportedly first purchased the Tuscan-inspired home back in 2007, preceding their 2013 divorce. However, it doesn’t seem the 22-year-old’s spent much time there as of late. Instead she’s been jet setting with beau Patrick Schwarzenegger, with the two most recently being spotted enjoying the January sunshine during a romantic Hawaiian vacay.”

It’s not clear whether Miley Cyrus intends to live full-time in her new $5 million ranch estate, as the singer is frequently on tour and working on other projects.
