Sex Monster Clive Roberts, Who Spent 30 Years Drugging Victims Before Filming Himself Sexually Assault Them, Jailed 22 Years

Sex monster Clive Roberts, 66, who spent the last three decades filming himself as he raped six women after drugging them with sleeping pills, was sentenced to 22 years behind prison bars, according to Mirror.

Roberts’ raping spree began as far back as the 1980s, where he began placing hidden cameras around his home to capture the vile acts on his victims. Unbeknownst to the six victims, he would drug them with sleeping pills, and begin sexually assaulting them after they had fallen asleep.

Roberts’ luck finally ran out when one of the victims — whose name cannot be revealed due to legal reasons — found one of his hidden cameras in 2014, and reported him to the police.

Once Robert knew he would be under scrutiny for the crimes he committed, he tried to destroy his hard drive, which housed hundreds of photographs he took of the sexual assaults. However, his attempt was in vain as police officials were later able to recover the pictures from his computer.

Roberts was later arrested and charged with a slew of crimes.

During police interrogation, Roberts confessed to raping and drugging six women. While in court, he pleaded guilty to 89 counts, which consisted of “rape, attempted rape, voyeurism, and drug spiking,” reports Manchester Evening News.

Judge John Potter claimed that Roberts was “manipulative and predatory who carried out acts of dreadful and wicked defilement that are almost beyond description.”

“You were prepared to think of women as sexual objects to be routinely deceived by you for your own deranged and perverted sexual gratification,” said Judge Potter.

“This abuse was carefully planned and took place repeatedly over many years.

You routinely drugged your victims to allow you to abuse them while they had been stupefied and then photographed many of the acts of degradation and stored them on a computer for repeat viewing and your own sexual gratification.”

“I do not know if you will ever be released from custody between now and when you meet your demise,” said the judge during Roberts sentencing.

“It is possible that you may be but the offending on this case richly deserves the significantly long sentence I impose on the likes of you.”

Judge Potter sentenced Roberts to 22 years in prison, but the judge doesn’t think he will survive that long, considering the vicious crimes he committed for three decades.
