‘Real Housewives Of New Jersey’ Cast Left Out Of Network Event

The New Jersey housewives were left off of the guest list for the 2015 NBC Upfront Presentation. On May 6, a source confirmed to Radar Online that the Bravo show is not represented at the NBC Upfronts, an event which introduces the media to the upcoming season of the network shows. Typically, a couple of members from each cast are present at the event. Last year, Melissa Gorga and Dina Manzo were present at the NYC event, but this year, no one from The Real Housewives Of New Jersey will be seen.

“Amber and Jim weren’t invited to the NBC upfronts this year. There are cast members from Atlanta, Beverly Hills, New York, and Orange County, [but] no one from New Jersey cast is on the list.”

However, while the New Jersey-based cast’s absence appears to hint at a possible show cancellation, Radar’s source claimed that wasn’t the case. Instead, the show has simply been pushed back, and won’t debut along with the others.

“I think they weren’t invited because the Real Housewives of New Jersey is not going to air this summer.”

In January, despite reports to the contrary, a source confirmed to Radar Online that The Real Housewives of New Jersey was expected to continue without its unofficial star, Teresa Giudice, who is currently serving a 15-month prison term for crimes of bank and wire fraud.

“The show will absolutely go on without Teresa. Bravo isn’t expected to make it public until the end of February, but filming has been loosely scheduled for late April, early May. No formal dates have been made for filming to begin because producers are still looking for potential new cast members.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, former New Jersey star Danielle Staub is reportedly in talks for a possible return to the Real Housewives‘ upcoming season. In an interview with Real Mr. Housewife earlier this week, a source claimed Staub’s return to the show “made sense.”

As fans will recall, Stauba appeared on the first and second seasons of The Real Housewives of New Jersey before reportedly getting fired. Although Staub claimed it was her decision to leave the show, no one really knows for sure what happened.

In the years since, the New Jersey cast has seen a number of changes, including the addition of Amber Marchese, Teresa Aprea, and Nicole Napolitano, and the exit of Caroline Manzo. New Jersey fans also saw returns from both Jacqueline Laurita and Dina Manzo.
