Chris Soules After ‘DWTS’: ‘The Goal Is To Start Building A Life In Arlington’

Chris Soules was eliminated from Dancing with the Stars right before the quarter finals of the popular dance competition. Even though Soules was clearly sad and heartbroken over this elimination, many were not expecting him to do this well. Many people reacted on Twitter, saying that given the competition that was left, it wasn’t surprising that he was booted from the show.

Maybe Chris Soules is surprised himself that he made it to week 8, given he didn’t have much dance experience prior to joining the show. During these two months, Soules has been the subject of false reports, rumors and stories about his engagement to Whitney Bischoff. Many claimed that the relationship was over and that he enjoyed the spotlight too much to work on his relationship.

According to a new Us Weekly report, Chris Soules is actually looking forward to going home to Iowa and starting his life with Whitney. The two didn’t get much time together prior to him going on Dancing with the Stars, but it sounds like both of them are super excited to disappear a bit from the spotlight.

“The goal is to start building a life in Arlington,” Chris Soules revealed about his future plans with Whitney, adding, “I think we’re both looking forward to being out of the spotlight and Arlington’s the best place to do that!”

But simply because he is going home to start something great with Bischoff doesn’t mean he can’t be sad about the outcome. When he was booted last night, Soules teared up a bit as he said goodbye to the cast members.

“It was clear at the end there, I was really disappointed,” Chris Soules revealed as he teared up during the elimination, adding, “But you know, life goes on. We didn’t make it to the end, so I’m a little disappointed.”

Whitney Bischoff was clearly missing from the show, but she has been spending time with her family. This week marks the 10th anniversary of her mother’s death, as she died from a blood clot 10 years ago. And Whitney wanted to spend the day with her family members.

“She’s with family, it’s actually the anniversary of her mom’s death. She was definitely bummed that this was the final dance, and she wasn’t able to be here,” Chris revealed about Whitney missing in action, saying, “But she was doing things for herself and she was with her family where she should be.”

But that doesn’t mean she doesn’t support Chris on his dancing venture.

“I love you Chris Soules! You impressed me each and every week with all you accomplished! You make me so proud!” Whitney Bischoff tweeted after Chris was eliminated, which was clearly tough on him, according to the Inquisitr.
