Lil Wayne Cited For High Grass & Weeds At His $1.7 Million Mansion

Lil Wayne, born Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., was issued a ticket by the Code Enforcement Department for having weeds and high grass at his Louisiana mansion.

The rap artist was cited by his real name, Dwayne Carter, at some point between the dates of February 26 and March 2 of 2012.

Lil Wayne’s elegant home, which apparently requires some basic landscaping, is listed as a celebrity mansion with an asking price of $1.7 million.

The five bedroom and five bathroom house with a “beautiful, spacious open floor plan” comes well equipped to entertain with a bar, Jacuzzi, sauna, theater, and more.

Wayne’s 10,000 square foot Louisiana mansion is located in a gated community within a suburb of New Orleans known as Kenner.

Dwayne Michael Carter, Jr., best known by his stage name Lil Wayne, first joined Cash Money Records at only nine years old.

In 1999, Lil Wayne dropped his Platinum debut album titled Tha Block Is Hot. The album sold over one million copies in the United States alone.

In more recent times, the rap artist claimed the Grammy Award for Best Rap Album and has been continuing to top charts year after year. Tha Carter IV album, commonly searched for online by the phrase “Lil Wayne Carter 4“, was released while the rapper was in prison back in August of 2011. The incredibly popular album sold 964,000 copies in the United States within the first week of release.

Perhaps the 29 year old rapper/songwriter was a little too busy recording hit songs and touring the world to mow his lawn and pull his weeds, but then again, I guess he could have hired someone.

What do you think of rap artist Lil Wayne being cited for not mowing the lawn and pulling the weeds at his Louisiana mansion?
