Tom Brady Congratulates Stephen Curry With Photoshopped High-Five

Tom Brady had a chance to show a little love for yet another one of his hard-working teammates.

However, this time around, the teammate that received congrats from the four-time Super Bowl champion was not one of the New England Patriots. As a matter of fact, he is not even in the NFL at all.

The man of honor was none other than NBA star (and recent MVP recipient) Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors.

Even though they play in two different sports, Curry and Brady are on the same team when it comes to their endorsement deals with Under Armour.

Since he was not there to high-five Stephen Curry in person after his emotionally stirring acceptance speech, Tom Brady decided to do the next best thing. He posted a picture on his Facebook page of a Photoshopped high-five shared between the two athletes along with his congratulatory message.

“Congrats to my Under Armour teammate Stephen Curry on winning the MVP! May this high five serve you well for the rest of the playoffs!”

Stephen Curry made headlines with his MVP acceptance speech simply because of taking the time to pay tribute to his father and mentor — former NBA star Dell Curry.

“Pops, you’re the example of what a true professional is on and off the court. I remember a lot of your career. And to be able to follow in your footsteps, it means a lot to me. This is special. I’m really proud of what you were able to do in your career, and I don’t take that for granted at all. A lot of people thought I had it easy with Pops playing in the NBA, but– I’ll get to that part at the end of the road– but it was an interesting journey, and just who you are, you made it okay for me to have family at my age when I started it, and to know that if you take care of your business you’ll be all right. So thank you so much.”

During his MVP acceptance speech, Curry also took the time to show appreciation for his wife — which is one more thing that he and Tom Brady have in common.

Not only has Tom Brady been very vocal over the years about his wife Gisele Bundchen and her support of his football career, but he also made headlines last month with the wonderful words that he shared when showing support for her.
