Channing Tatum Reveals Prankster Side on Jimmy Kimmel Live [Video]
Channing Tatum might play the good, romantic guy in movies like Dear John and The Vow, but when the Mrs. isn’t around, the 31-year-old actor says, “it’s go time.”
Channing, who stars in 21 Jump Street with Jonah Hill, sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night and revealed all the details on some of his crazy escapades.
A self-admitted prankster, Tatum shared photos of Jonah asleep on an airplane getting a front-row view of Tatum’s backside. Channing also admitted that that he and his buddies – while their ladies were all away for the weekend – crashed a Marlon Wayans’ house party… while completely naked.
“When there’s no women around you know how guys do,” Tatum told Kimmel. “When there’s no supervision it can just go way off the rails real fast.”
Naked party crashing, however, wasn’t the craziest “guys night out” story that Channing had in his bag. The actor recalled a recent incident that sounded like a plot-line for the Hangover 3:
“The last one, I woke up I was like ‘Oww.’ I had a tattoo and somehow carved ‘Free’ into my arm, or someone did, I don’t know what happened!” he explained. “We decided to do a guys trip and go skeet shooting and drinking, which is always guns and fun and alcohol.”
Despite his innate ability to cut loose, Tatum says he also has had to play the parental role during outings with his Jump Street co-star Jonah Hill. Channing explained to the late night show host:
“We went out in Miami and then we decided to go and jump into the ocean… naked. It was night time, thank God. And after that, this is where Jonah decides to wild out. There’s Jerry’s Deli right on the corner. And he decides he wants to go in and all he’s got is a t-shirt and his underwear on. And he goes, “I’m going in and getting something to eat!’ And I was like, ‘Noooo!’ I stopped him, I dragged him into the car, and now he’s nicknamed ‘Baby Jonah’ because I had to dress him like a mom.”
