‘New Girl’ Spoilers, Renewal News: What Can Viewers Expect As Season 4 Ends?
The Season 4 finale of New Girl airs Tuesday night on Fox, and it’s shaping up to be quite the episode. One roommate is moving out of the loft while Jess and Nick are reflecting on some emotional moments. What New Girl spoilers are available for the May 5 finale? Has Fox renewed or canceled the show?
TV Guide teases that in “Clean Break,” Coach moves out of the loft. Also ahead in this episode, Schmidt is paring down on belongings, while Nick and Jess are reconsidering their feelings for one another.
As everybody sorts through various belongings in the loft, it seems many a memory is revisited. Entertainment Weekly shares a clip that may get some buzzing over the idea that Jess and Nick may still be spending some intimate and quality time together regularly.
The New Girl spoiler clip shows an explanation of the “sex mug,” the signal the two used to set up their various rendezvous. It doesn’t take long, though, for the two to get called out on the mug having recently been in that telling position. However, executive producer Liz Meriwether says that the two have not still been hooking up.
That said, there are still complicated feelings between Nick and Jess. Luckily for fans who like the two together, it seems that the idea of a continuing romance between the two is not necessarily off the table. Meriwether adds that the idea of a romantic relationship may well be readdressed in Season 5.
TVLine shares some additional New Girl spoilers for the Season 4 finale. Coach is leaving the loft to join May in her new job out of town. In addition, Schmidt tries to wipe the slate clean in terms of the Cece relationship by getting rid of everything tied to her.
Schmidt’s plan to give Cece’s stuff to charity leads to quite the encounter. People shares the sneak peek that features 30 Rock star Jack McBrayer in what will surely be a hilarious scene. McBrayer plays a donation center employee named Wally who goes toe-to-toe with Schmidt when he has second thoughts about giving the items away.
New Girl spoilers tease that the distance between Schmidt and Cece may not last all that long, as there is a big reunion about to take place. While there are some big developments in this Season 4 finale, fans won’t be left hanging for forever. Fox has already renewed the show for Season 5, which is great news for fans.
Fans will have to wait and see how it all comes together, but New Girl Season 5 is on the way. In fact, as TVLine recently reported, production is already happening, so the show can work ahead a bit. Star Zooey Deschanel is pregnant, but that’s not being written into the show. The cast and crew are filming ahead to accommodate Deschanel’s maternity leave.
Viewers are anxious to see all the exciting moments ahead in the Season 4 finale, and they can’t wait to see how things are set up for Season 5. New Girl airs the season finale on Tuesday, May 5 on Fox.
