Britney Spears ‘Flaunting Her Dance Moves’ In Upcoming ‘Pretty Girls’ Video

Britney Spears just released her new single with Iggy Azalea, and she is already teasing fans about the upcoming video.

Spears called in New York’s Z100 to talk about her latest hit, “Pretty Girls,” with the “Fancy” Australian rapper.

The video, which Spears and Azalea filmed last month, is said to feature Spears “flaunting her dance moves,” according to Billboard.

Spears said, “This has been the first video I’ve done in a while where, you know, I came up with the concept and there’s a lot of dancing.”

And part of the concept was what Popsugar referred to as “all kinds of ’80s.”

“I got new choreographers to come in and kind of do hip-hop dancing, which I haven’t done in a really long time, so the feel of the video is really different and high-energy. My dancers were there, my dancers from my show. There’s a club scene, there’s a car-wash scene, a couple of different other scenes. We had a lot of fun,” explained Spears.

So how did everything go, recording and working with Iggy? Spears admitted to being a big fan.

“I saw her video and I was just a huge fan. I was thinking about my next single for my next album and what I was gonna do, and I wanted to do a girl anthem. Something that was very girl empowering and that was kinda funny. I thought a whole take on valley girls and just kind of making fun of that would be fun for us to do. She was really down with it,” admitted Spears.

Spears then added, “She’s a very sweet girl. We hit it off…It was so much fun working with her. I think she’s from Australia. She has an accent. She’s funny. She’s really, really cool.”

While the two seemed to be having a whole lot of fun making the video for “Pretty Girls,” Britney Spears and her Australian collaborator are taking their show on the road and performing at this year’s Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 17.
