Sheree Whitfield Eyed By Bravo For ‘RHOA’ Season 8 Return

Could Sheree Whitfield be a part of the eighth season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta? Although an official cast announcement won’t be made for several months, a source recently told Real Mr. Housewife that Bravo wants her back.

“Bravo is definitely interested in Sheree Whitfield returning for many reasons,” the insider said on May 4.

Sheree Whitfield appeared on The Real Housewives of Atlanta as a full-time original wife, starting in Season 1 and continued her reality journey with Bravo until Season 4. From there, Sheree Whitfield has appeared on a number of reality shows, including Iyanla: Fix My Life and Millionaire Matchmaker.

“If you noticed on [Sunday] night’s reunion, Sheree’s name kept getting brought up. That wasn’t by accident. In addition, the way NeNe reacted when asked about Sheree proves there is still beef between the two, which would be ratings gold.”

“There definitely is still interest in [Sheree Whitfield] from the fans as well. A return from her would definitely make sense at this point in time.”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, reports of Sheree Whitfield’s possible return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta first began swirling at the end of last month, after Bravo executive Andy Cohen tweeted about his former reality star. After she noticed her name coming up often during the reunions, Sheree Whitfield took to Twitter.

In response to Sheree Whitfield’s tweet, several fans posted messages to Cohen, requesting he bring her back to the show, and judging by his own Twitter message to fans, it was certainly a possibility.

Sheree Whitfield left The Real Housewives of Atlanta after Season 4, and right away, rumors swirling, claiming she may have been fired from the series. In response, Sheree Whitfield released a statement to Wetpaint Entertainment, claiming she decided to leave Bravo after determining the series no longer fit into the lifestyle she desired.

“After four solid seasons of helping Bravo build the show into its most successful Housewives franchise, I have decided to leave. The direction the show is going in is no longer a fit for my lifestyle. I’m tired of the fighting and the cattiness.”

Sheree Whitfield hasn’t yet commented on a possible return to the show.
