Katie Holmes Bob With Bangs At Met Gala Real Or Wig? Actress Teases With Mommy-And-Me Suri Cruise Style

Katie Holmes is having a blast with a bob hairstyle. Although many think that her bob is permanent, it appears to be only a wig, reported Us Weekly.

Appearing on the red carpet for the 2015 Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute benefit (Met Gala), Holmes earned wide eyes of appreciation and shock. She added to the assumption that it was a real cut echoing her Tom Cruise days by teasing her fans on Instagram with what looked like an attempt to have her hair cut.

“Upside down about my hair for #metball @zac_posen @djquintero. Dare me….. #metball @alternahaircare @olay @zac_posen @djquintero.”

So, did she or didn’t she? Well, maybe that was a real bob, reported the Daily Mail.

In addition to the hairstyle, Katie earned praise for her choice of a backless Zac Posen gown.

However, the sudden change in her hair definitely got the most attention when it came to Holmes’ outfit. Often seen with daughter Suri Cruise sporting a bang-free, shoulder-length hairstyle, Katie seemed to have acquired both new hair fullness, as well as bangs and short hair.

In some ways, however, Holmes seemed to have taken her inspiration from her daughter’s hair, as shown below.

As the Inquisitr reported, Katie recently had a blast in a very different way by celebrating Suri Cruise’s birthday, although her ex-husband Tom Cruise did not attend.

Now 9-years-old, Suri still loves cupcakes, just like her mom. So, Katie created a tower of cupcakes to delight them both.

“Katie got an assortment of vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet cupcakes decorated in pink and purple from Georgetown Cupcake SoHo,” revealed a source of the loving mom’s preparations. “Dozens and dozens of cupcakes were placed on cupcake towers for the celebration!”

The children also danced, thanks to Katie’s decision to persuade a DJ to play at a children’s party, and chowed down on burgers and chicken fingers.

“Suri and her friends ate, danced and ran around. She was just a normal kid having a good time with her friends,” said an observer.
