Chelsea Houska & Cole DeBoer Expand Family
Chelsea Houska and her boyfriend, Cole DeBoer, have taken their relationship to the next level. Nearly one year into their relationship, the Teen Mom 2 star and her traffic controller boyfriend have added a baby pig to their brood.
On May 5, a source revealed the following in regard to Chelsea Houska’s new pet:
“Chelsea has wanted a pig since she was little. She put a lot of research into it. When she bought her new home, she knew she would get one eventually.”
Although the pig, whom Chelsea Houska named Petey, will live primarily at her 4-bedroom home, her boyfriend was very much a part of her decision to make the purchase.
“Cole has always wanted a pig, too, so they decided to get one together.”
Chelsea Houska has been dating DeBoer since the summer of last year, after meeting at a gas station near her home in South Dakota. However, they haven’t been rushing their relationship. Instead, Chelsea Houska and Deboer continue to live separately, and are taking things very slow.
Over the weekend, Chelsea Houska shared the first photos of her new baby pig.
“HI PETEY welcome to the family beebee! @coledeboer.”
As the Inquisitr previously reported, Chelsea Houska and her boyfriend have been filming scenes for the upcoming sixth season of Teen Mom 2 for the last several months, and when it comes to DeBoer, Chelsea Houska had one major rule for MTV. In March, a source told Radar Online Chelsea Houska had requested the network refrain from any on-screen drama regarding DeBoer and her ex-boyfriend, Adam Lind.
“Chelsea made it clear that Adam and Cole were not going to hang out for a dramatic scene. It would never happen in real life, so why force it? Adam is not a part of Chelsea’s life, so it’s not important.”
Chelsea Houska and Lind dated years ago, but their relationship was always plagued with drama, and not much has changed since they’ve split. On the show, Houska is often seen frustrated with Lind’s parenting skills, and revolving door of women.
Not only has Lind dated a number of girls since splitting from Chelsea Houska, he’s also introduced them all to their daughter, Aubree, and fast.
Chelsea Houska returns to MTV on July 9 in Teen Mom 2 season six. Boyfriend DeBoer will also be seen on the show, as will ex-boyfriend Lind — and whomever it is he’s been dating while filming for the reality series.
