Robin Williams’ Final Movie ‘Absolutely Anything’ Gets A Trailer [Video]

While the untimely death of comedian and actor Robin Williams was a shock to everyone, the actor left behind some pleasant surprises as well.

As the Inquisitr reported earlier, the last film Robin Williams ever acted in will be released on July 17. The movie is called Boulevard, and it tells the story of Nolan Mack (Robin Williams), a man who has worked at the same job for 26 years and decides to pick up a con artist he passes as he is driving. You can read all the details on this movie here.

There is one more treat in store movie-wise, however. Robin Williams will also do a voice over in the soon to be released Absolutely Anything. Williams can be seen in the video trailer below doing the voice of the main character’s dog, Dennis. The synopsis from IMDb places the movie into the science fiction genre.

“A group of eccentric aliens confer a human being with the power to do absolutely anything, as an experiment.”

Absolutely Everything stars Simon Pegg in the lead role of Neil Clarke, with Kate Beckinsale starring as Catherine. The movie also stars Eddie Izzard, Joanna Lumley, Rob Riggle, and Sanjeev Bhaskar. Robin Williams will not be the only actor providing voice-overs; members of the Monty Python team — John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Michael Palin, and Terry Jones — will play the extraterrestrials who decide to experiment on Earth.

As well as acting in Absolutely Everything, Terry Jones directed it and helped write the script alongside Gavin Scott.

Dennis the dog, played by Robin Williams, steals the show in the newly released trailer. While the movie has only been slated for release in the United Kingdom so far, it is likely, considering the untimely death of Williams, the movie will also be released in other countries.

This is not Robin Williams’ first foray into the world of movie voice overs. In 2014, he starred as the voice of Garuda in Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb. He also gave his voice to such movies as Happy Feet Two (2011), Happy Feet (2006), A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001), Aladdin and the King of Thieves (1996), Aladdin on Ice (1995), FernGully: The Last Rainforest (1992), and, of course, his most famous voice-over movie, the 1992 Disney classic Aladdin.

Robin Williams was also the voice of Napoleon Cross in the 2006 movie Everyone’s Hero, although his work went uncredited in that movie. As well as movies, he did the voice-over for the 1998 video game Disney’s Math Quest with Aladdin and for the TV series One Saturday Morning (1997) and Great Minds Think for Themselves (1998).

Absolutely Everything, starring Robin Williams, will appear in theaters in the UK on August 14, 2015.
