Emma Watson’s Classmates Spill The Beans On Her Time In Brown

Emma Watson is best known for her role in Harry Potter as Hermione, who is Harry Potter’s best friend. The role catapulted Emma Watson to fame and in April this year, Emma Watson was named as one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People on the planet, which was in part due to her collaboration with the United Nations on gender equality. Emma Watson is a staunch crusader on the subject.

Emma Watson had been attending Brown University from 2009 to 2011, but took a hiatus till 2013. The time-off enabled her to pay more attention to her career.

According to NY Daily News, Emma Watson had chosen to take time away to indulge in the promotion of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part 2,’ which was the last movie to be released in the franchise.

However, on Emma Watson’s first day at school, E Online reports that she told the Sunday Times the following.

On the first day, I walked into the canteen and everyone went completely silent and turned to look at me…..
I wanted to pretend I wasn’t as famous as I was. I was trying to seek out normality, but I kind of have to accept who I am, the position I’m in and what happened.

One time I was waiting in line to order a sandwich at the farmer’s market on Wriston. Once I mostly decided I wanted to order a ham sandwich, someone came up behind me, asking if I was in line. As I started to say no, I turned and saw that it was Emma. She ordered the last ham sandwich, and I was okay with that.
