Boston Bomber Cries: Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Cries While His Aunt Sobs On Witness Stand

The Boston bomber cries and wipes tears from his face, showing the first sign of emotion since his trial for the Boston Marathon bombings began. According to MSN, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev couldn’t hold back his tears when his aunt (his mother’s sister) took the witness stand on Monday.

The defense called Patimat Suleimanova up to testify in the case, but she couldn’t compose herself long enough to say much. She answered the basic questions about her name and her age, but was then asked to step down to compose herself. Dzhokhar was seen wiping his eyes and his nose using a tissue as his aunt left the stand.

The Boston bomber’s very first cries, caught by those inside the courtroom, are being talked about a lot this afternoon. As the defense continues to call up more relatives and friends of Tsarnaev, it seems as though he’s starting to break a bit. However, it is unknown why he is crying — if he feels the slightest bit of remorse for his actions, or if he feels as though he disappointed the people who love him.

According to KSL, the defense has been trying to pin the majority of the blame on Dzhokhar’s brother, Tamerlan, who was killed in a police shootout days after the brothers set off two bombs near the Boston Marathon’s finish line. They have referred to Tamerlan as the “mastermind” and say that the 26-year-old “lured” his brother in and basically convinced him to carry out his plan to kill. Hundreds of people were injured in the blasts, and three people were killed.

There are five members of Dzhokhar’s family that are scheduled to take the stand this week.

“I think that his kindness made everybody around him kind,” said Dzhokhar’s cousin, Raisat Suleimanova, on the stand today.

Despite the cries from the Boston bomber, many don’t feel an ounce of sadness for him — or for his family members.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, many were angered by Dzhokhar’s mother, Zubeidat Tsarnaeva, who penned quite a lengthy post about the United States and how America “will pay” for punishing her “innocent” son.

“How can a mother feel whose son is in the claws of a predator preparing to tear him to pieces like meat? But there is an abundance of such mothers, who bury their best sons in the ground who are tormented by predators, like brave young eagles soaring through the open sky, limitless, and who in one moment and in one instant end up in the claws of bloodthirsty and ravenous beasts whom they feed to their empty and terrifying belly.”

Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will soon learn whether or not he will be sentenced to death.
