Yolanda Foster’s ‘Nightmare’ Battle With Lyme Disease Revealed

Yolanda Foster continues to struggle with Lyme disease, and as she does, she’s made it a point to keep Real Housewives of Beverly Hills fans in the loop with her ongoing treatment. On May 2, after spending a week in Germany, Yolanda Foster updated fans on Instagram with a photo and message.

“No matter how much it hurts, you have to keep going……. #NoteToSelf #WeMustFindACure #ChronicNeuroLymeDisease #TwoYearNineMonthNightMare #GermanyDay7.”

The following day, Yolanda Foster returned to social media to share a photo of herself and her mother, whom fans met during Season 5 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“Your Mommy’s arms are always true because she would risk it all for you…….. #FamilySupport #MyLymeJourney #MothersLove.”

In an interview with Us Weekly last week, Yolanda Foster’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills co-star, Brandi Glanville, gave an update on her health.

“I’ve always stayed in touch with Yolanda [Foster]. I talked to her this morning, she’s in Germany. She’s very very sick still. She called me and was like, ‘I wish I could be there for you’ and said ‘congratulations.'”

As the Inquisitr previously reported, Yolanda Foster’s future with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills remains unclear. Although Foster participated in Season 5, all the way up to the finale episode, her participation in the Season 5 reunion was limited, and because of that, many fans fear she will soon move on from the show to focus solely on her health.

In February, a source spoke to Radar Online revealing Yolanda Foster was unable to form sentences at times, and would be forced to leave the reunion early, which she did.

Because Yolanda Foster is so sick, and doesn’t appear to be making any progress. Despite her many travels, it seems unlikely that she’ll be able to continue her reality career. Although it is certainly possible fans will see her on Season 6, it’s doubtful she’ll return in a full-time role. If she was unable to complete filming on the reunion and continues to struggle with reading and writing, no one can really expect her to sign any sort of long-term contract with anyone, let alone a months-long season of an intense reality show.

In better news, Yolanda Foster’s two daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid, continue to have major success in the modeling world, much like the reality star did when she was their age. Most recently, Gigi was named as the face of Maybelline New York.
