Kim Kardashian And Kanye West Skip Epic Fight To Work On Baby Number Two?

Celebrities dressed up and turned out for the highly-anticipated bout between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao, but Kim Kardashian-West and hubby Kanye West were not among them.

According to the Washington Post, the star-studded audience included Hollywood A-listers like Robert DiNero, Drew Barrymore, and Ben Affleck. Music Industry darlings like Nikki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and Jay Z and Beyonce were also in attendance. Granted, there have been reports that Beyonce and Kim aren’t the best of friends, and these rumors are likely to reach a fever pitch following Beyonce’s seemingly Kim-inspired plunging neckline and pantsuit. Could a rivalry between the two women be so intense that it prevented Kanye from scoring tickets from his pals? Even Kim’s best friend-turned-frenemy Paris Hilton was photographed at the “fight of the century.”

For a family that has built their careers and being seen, it seems odd that Kim and Kanye would miss such a high-profile event. So what made Kim and Kanye Mayweather vs. Pacquiao?

The answer may be a baby, or rather the baby they are trying so desperately to have.

It’s no secret that Kim and Kanye have been trying to give their daughter, North, a sibling. Unfortunately, it’s also not a secret that, at least so far, it hasn’t been going well. As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the couple has been trying so hard for their second child that Kim is exhausted.

“We are trying. We try every single day. You can’t try harder than we try. It’s getting exhausting. He always says, ‘Trying for baby No. 2 isn’t as fun as trying to baby No. 1.'”

According to Radar Online, Kim and Kanye have even considered what to do if they prove unable to conceive baby number two. When asked recently if she and Kanye would consider a surrogate, Kim gave an answer that may have surprised some.

“I think if it came to that point. We’ve been trying for over a year… I would wait maybe a couple of years until that happened.”

In the meantime, Kim and Kanye seem to be staying close together in New York, and thousands of miles away from Las Vegas. Far away from the ultra rich, A-list crowd at the MGM Grand, Kim and Kanye watched the fight with pals Dwayne Wade and Gabriell Union. Also in attendance were Lala and Carmelo Anthony. Kim Kardashian-West and Kanye will likely stay in New York at least until Monday, when the two are expected to attend the annual MET Costume Institute Benefit.
