Kate Middleton Leaves Hospital Hours After Giving Birth, Wearing Jenny Packham Dress Similar To The One She Wore Nearly Two Years Ago

The New York Daily News reported that Kate Middleton gave birth to an eight-pound girl at 8:34 a.m., on Saturday. She and the baby left St. Mary’s Hospital after only 10 hours. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a Jenny Packham dress like she did two years ago.

The baby girl wore a knitted cream hat and was wrapped in a soft woolen shawl. Her ivory shawl was from G. H. Hurt & Son in Nottingham, which specializes in luxury scarves and shawls. A spokesman for the Duke and Duchess gave some information about the shawl.

“Other Members of the Royal Family have been presented with these shawls in the past, and Prince George and The Duke of Cambridge had similar shawls when they were babies.”

The Duke of Cambridge stood next to the Duchess of Cambridge as she held their daughter in her arms. The Duke of Cambridge gave a big smile as he waved to the crowd.

The royal family left in a similar fashion as they did when they left the same hospital after the birth of their first child. Kate Middleton even wore a dress quite similar to the one she wore in July, 2013. Two years ago, she wore a blue-and-white polka dot stunning silk shift dress by Jenny Packham, which is the high-end U.K. designer.

When she left the hospital with her daughter, Middleton wore heels and a lemon-yellow buttercup shift frock by Jenny Packham, estimated to cost about $4,000, according to Glamour Fashion.

Mothers took to social media to comment on how flawless Kate looked compared to how they looked hours after they gave birth. It was funny how some of the women poked fun at themselves.

“I just don’t get how Kate Middleton looks so darn good after just giving birth. Hair curled, in a dress. I’m lucky if I brush my hair.”

Prince William put the carrier in the Range Rover with the baby girl in the same baby carrier that was used to take Prince George home from the hospital.

The family took the short drive to Kensington Palace to be with Prince George, who had visited his baby sister at the hospital earlier during the day.

It is an understanding that the baby will not be named until after Queen Elizabeth has seen her great-grandaughter. No matter what her name will be, she is already the fourth in line to the throne.
