‘Teen Mom 3’ Star Mackenzie Douthit Confirms Marriage To Josh McKee Is Back On, Says He Should Be ‘Glad’ They’re Married
Teen Mom 3 star Mackenzie Douthit and her husband, Josh McKee, have made amends.
As the Inquisitr reported earlier this month, the Teen Mom 3 couple’s relationship became strained weeks ago, after Douthit crashed her brand new, uninsured Kia SUV into a ditch, costing them thousands. According to a TMZ report at the time, McKee tossed his wedding ring in the toilet, and stormed out of the home he shared with Douthit and their two kids.
On April 29, Douthit surfaced on Instagram, where she shared a family photo, along with a heart and lips emoji. Although she didn’t have anything to tell fans in the caption of the photo, the picture seemed to confirm the Teen Mom 3 marriage was back on. Then, on April 30, the Teen Mom 3 star further confirmed the relationship with a Twitter posting.
“I literally cut Joshes hair every other week. He better be glad he married a cosmetologist,” she told fans.
Also on Instagram, the Teen Mom 3 couple posed for a couple of photos together. In the first photo, Douthit was seen with her legs wrapped around McKee.
“Love is about getting stronger together @joshmckee28.”
In the second photo, which Douthit captioned, “#swolemate #fitfam #fitcouple #fitmom,” the Teen Mom 3 couple was seen showing off their biceps.
After starring for years on MTV, Teen Mom 3 star Douthit and her longtime boyfriend, McKee, the father of her son Gannon, announced they were both expecting another child and married in August, 2013. At the same time, the Teen Mom 3 star fought back against hateful message from fans online.
“For everyone wondering, I’m 12 weeks pregnant … time to tell the truth … Been married for months but I’m not allowed to get pregs with my husband without Miami girls subtweeting … do I look like I care???? Im married yall and happier than all of you. God knows what he is doing … get a life …
Yes I love everyone checking on me, but yes I have reached my breaking point and have literally been through hell and back these last three days. I have kept this a secret because I’m probably the easiest target of all miami to judge. I only told cause people are asking why I’m fat lol …. Teen Mom 3 was canceled after just one season.
