Kate Middleton’s Delivery Watch: Prince Charles Is Hoping To Welcome A Granddaughter

Prince Charles has spoken! The grandfather of George Alexander Louis (Prince George of Cambridge) is hoping to welcome a granddaughter next.

Prince William and wife Kate Middleton are expecting their second child, and while they haven’t given away the sex of the baby, grandpa Charles is hoping they have a daughter this time around to even things out in the growing family.

According to People magazine, Charles was meeting with a 100-year-old military vet at a Windsor Castle event, when he said, “We’re hoping for a granddaughter!”

As of April 30, 77 percent are hoping that William and Kate will welcome a girl, just like proud grandpa Prince Charles.

When she does go into labor, Princess Kate will have her second child at the Lindo Wing at St. Mary’s hospital.

As of right now, everyone is on pins and needles about when Kate will go into labor, which is very reminiscent of her first pregnancy with Prince George, but as Charles’ wife Camilla confirmed, there’s still no new news.

The latest rumor to emerge was that Kate left for the hospital. It was reported that a “convoy” had left for the hospital, and security was at Lindo Wing, but apparently these rumors aren’t true, despite security being present at the Lindo Wing door.

Princess Kate’s delivery date is a best guess at this point as parking restrictions have been put in place for a long period of time.

Here are a few other details regarding “The Great Kate Wait” via Twitter.
